Ocean Seeders
Fish Habitat Restoration & Food Security
Consulting, Education & Support
Service Description
Kelp forest, the natural habitat of the Salmon, is at great risk. In Tasmania (Australia) 95% of the kelp forest has desappeared due to warmer waters. Although Kelp culture technology using ropes is now known, only very few have gained access to it. Ocean Seeders was founded to lift that barrier and empower coastline people to achieve a self-sufficiency and a self-reliance they deserve. Empowered by technology, young and old can now join a community of Ocean Restorators and Farmers, sharing knowledge and experience among themselves. Early adopters, such as schools can twin and share their experience with schools in less affluent communities. Building ocean knowledge is building resilience against climate change and food security.
