Forty percent of the world’s population lives near the ocean, yet only a small fraction takes part in restoring it. The next frontier is to unlock the enormous, untapped potential of youth and senior volunteers. Ocean restoration can draw strength from the idealism of young people and the altruism of older generations—and with the right tools, many more can join.
